BREED PATTERNS

The Australian Mist has two very different coat patterns, Spotted and Marbled. The marbled pattern is recessive to the spotted.

Marbled is a variation on the gene known as the 'classic / blotched tabby'

Spotted varies from mackerel right through to spotted with every imaginable variation of pattern size and degree of spottedness in between.

A very pretty young lilac spotted female.
A super example of a brown marbled male.
